July 19, 2009   Motorcyclists for Jesus Ministries will be hosting a Memorial ride for Jim “Pappy” Strous; sign in at Battlefield Harley Davidson, 21 East Cavalry Rd. in Gettysburg, PA. August 1, 2009  ABATE of Indiana, Region 11, Hancock County, Teddy Bear Ride. Sign-in 9:30am-10:45am at the Bob Evans in Greenfield (SR 9 & I70). Ride (approx 100 miles) leaves at 11am. Cost: $10 per rider/$15 with passenger or $7 per rider with Teddy Bear or New Toy. Toys and Teddy Bears go to the Shriners Children's Hospital & Hancock County Child Protective Service. August 1, 2009  Angels for Kids Charity Run Sponsored by Angels for Kids and Stella's Lounge The ride starts at Stella's Lounge, 1411 Home Avenue in Kokomo. Registration begins at 11:00 am and the last bike goes out by 12:00 pm. The ride fee is $15.00 for the rider and $5.00 for a passenger. The ride ends with an auction, food, raffles, and live music. All proceeds go to Angels for Kids. No contact information was given for this event.

Proceeds again will go to Rupert's Kids. There were 149 motorcycles last year and we are looking forward to improving this figure for the benefit of Rupert's Kids.

All Trike riders and Bike-riders alike are invited to enjoy a weekend of fun with good food, games, door prizes, guided and self-guided tours. Free Hog Roast: 3pm -5pm at Johnson County Eagles Aeries, 564 North Front Street, Whiteland, IN. Live music, Monte Carlo, raffles, 50/50, silent auction, door prizes, and fun wrap up for this ride through beautiful Southeast-Central Indiana.

September 19th, 2009 1st Annual SCI Hope Ride. (Spinal Cord Injury) Ride will start and end at the Plainfield Eagles, Aerie 3207, 5556 E US Highway 40, Plainfield, IN. Please Consider yourself invited to join us in the efforts to raise funds and awareness so the SCI Hope Fund is able to provide valuable information and resources to those who live with spinal cord injury or have loved ones who do. This is a police escorted motorcycle ride through Hendricks County. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to own a motorcycle to attend the event. This is a community event.  You may visit the Eagle Rider website (www.eagleriders3207.org) or the SCI Hope Fund website (www.scihope.org) for more information as the sites are updated. More information will be in the websites as the planning process continues.

September 26, 2009  A Little Wiggle Room Charity Ride, Sponsored by ABATE Foundation of Indiana. The ride starts at O'Reilly Raceway Park of Indianapolis. Registration is from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. The ride fee is $15.00 for the rider and $10.00 for a passenger. The ride fee includes lunch.  The  police escorted ride will finish in Greenwood.
